HENNA FOR HAIR COLOR

I use Henna to cover my gray because it’s all natural.  Since I decided not to perm my hair anymore; to me it does not make sense to use chemicals like a dye to cover the gray in my hair.

Henna is not a chemical but a plant called Lawsonia Inermis that is naturally harvested and dried to put into powder form. When Henna is mixed with a mild acidic liquid it will stain skin, hair and fingernails a reddish-orange color.

Henna is found mostly in the Middle East and Northern African. It can only grow in hot and dry areas like the desert regions. I purchase my Henna online at www.mehandi only. They sell body art quality Henna which is 100% pure and the quality of the Henna is tested before it is sold to customers.

Pure Henna only comes in red-orange which is just right for meJ Unfortunately there is no such thing as black, neutral, blonde, brown or any color Henna but you can make other colors by blending it with Indigo and Cassia which are two other plants.

If you are interested in coloring your hair naturally I believe Henna is your best option.  To learn more about the benefits of Henna and how to use it go to www.hennaforhair .
